Special Project Associate II. This temporary social and behavioral research position offers hands‑on experience supporting the lab’s federally funded grants and projects. Day‑to‑day activities include organizing research activities, preparing presentation and dissemination materials, and completing data entry, cleaning, and basic analyses. The Associate works closely with the Principal Investigator, fellows, and multidisciplinary collaborators and community partners. Opportunities exist to strengthen skills in health communication research, contribute to manuscripts and presentations, and possibly lead a publication.
• Bachelor degree required and experience in lab project or research work in an educational or work setting. Candidate must have a solid understanding of lab techniques, equipment, and safety.
• Proof of English proficiency required for J‑1 Short‑Term Scholars, Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic. Current curriculum vitae with bibliography required. Two letters of recommendation may be requested prior to an interview.
