Job summary

Atrius Health in Braintree, MA, is seeking a Special Procedures RN (MNA) for the Urgent Care department. The role involves pre- and post-procedure assessment, intra-procedural care, IV moderate sedation, and post-op monitoring across GYN, oral/maxillofacial, oncology, and GI procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating a collaborative care team, ensuring safe procedural flow, patient education, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed an accredited Registered Nurse education program.
• Active and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of MA.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• ACLS may be required based on specialty.
• 3+ years of relevant medical/surgical or ambulatory nursing experience.
• Willingness to participate in IVMS seminars every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure assessment and intra-procedural care.
• Support procedural flow and collaborate with the care team.
• Perform nursing procedures within scope (IV, meds, injections, wound care, EKGs, glucose).
• Deliver patient education and maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate data to the team.
• Assist with oncology care coordination and community resources.
• Maintain safety, credentialing, and certifications; participate in education and quality initiatives.
