Job Description

We are hiring a Police Officer to serve and safeguard clients in the Raleigh, NC area. The Allied Universal Company Police Force is a reputable choice for private policing. Candidates must meet all state training requirements mandated by the North Carolina Justice Academy. Position Details

• Type: Full Time
• Pay Rate: $31.93/hour
• Schedule: Wed 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thu 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sun 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide police services including safety procedures and emergency response
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations
• Conduct patrols around schools and perimeters

Minimum Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license; be a U.S. citizen
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Certified (sworn) as a police officer, BLET certificate, or state law enforcement certification
• Out-of-state candidates must have completed an accredited BLET course and have two years of law enforcement experience; may need to complete an abbreviated BLET course within one year
• Honorable military discharge (if applicable)
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and polygraph if in probationary status
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to handle crisis situations using de-escalation tactics
• Perform law enforcement duties including patrolling, issuing citations, conducting investigations, and making arrests
• Attend training and maintain proficiency with firearms
• Physical ability to work in various environments, lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, and stand/walk for long periods
