Job Highlights:

Mobile Crisis Team Leader must be a Qualified Professional or Registered Nurse with 4 years' experience with mental health/substance use population; of and have one of the following minimum qualifications:

  • LCSW-A

  • LCMHC-A

  • LCAS-A

  • LMFT-A

A Qualified Professional (10A NCAC 27G .0104) must have one of the following:

  • Bachelor degree (non Human Services) with 4 years Full time OR 8 years Part time applicable experience required

  • Bachelor degree (Human Services) with 2 years Full time OR 4 years Part time applicable experience required

  • Master degree (Human Services) with 1 year Full time OR 2 years Part time applicable experience required

This Opportunity: The primary responsibilities of the Mobile Crisis Team Leader are to supervise the Mobile Crisis Team members, schedule the Mobile Crisis Unit, and provide clinical backup and support to the mobile team. This position will also interface with other administrative staff; provide direct clinical care and on-call services as necessary. These services may include, but are not limited to, all supports, services, and treatments necessary to provide integrated crisis response, crisis stabilization interventions, and crisis prevention activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide clinical expertise, direction and supervision to the Mobile Crisis Team members as well as provide consultation to all staff positions working within the parameters of the Crisis Program.
• Determine staff training needs of the Mobile Crisis Team personnel and be responsible for arranging for training to be provided.
• Serve as a backup for on-call personnel in case of equipment failure or for consultation in particularly difficult or sensitive situations.
• Lead, in large part, the interviewing and hiring of the staff persons supervised by this position, as well as take part in any disciplinary action involving those persons.
• Provide direct services to individuals who have requested services or who need services as identified by Screening, Triage and Referral (STR), the MCM team, community service providers such as hospitals and law enforcement, or CIT officers. The intervention may include: face-to-face or telephone assessment, behavioral or family intervention, hospital or respite placement, recommendation for further intervention, the creation of a crisis plan, or follow-up assessment.
• Generate all required crisis intervention notes, crisis plans, billing forms, and service notes regarding all contacts and other appropriate medical records documentation.
• Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations.
• Follow service definition guidelines for services being provided.
• Driving and travel may be required.

Education We're Looking For: Masters: Human Services (Required) Certifications We're Looking For: Drivers License (Valid) - USA, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist - Associate (LCAS-A) - State Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor - Associate (LCMHC-A) - State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Associate (LCSW-A) - State Social Work Certification and Licensure Board, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Associate (LMFT-A) - State Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board, Qualified Professional (QP) - Monarch-DSM Experience We're Looking For: Counseling/Therapy Experience | 2 Years | Required Experience in a crisis management setting or service during which the individual provided crisis response | 1 Year | Required Experience working with children or adults (dependent on population served) with a mental health diagnosis, an intellectual/developmental disability., or substance use disorder | 2-4 years (Dependent Upon Education - see Job Description) | Required Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm) Target Weekly Hours: 40 Monarch is an Equal Opportunity Employer
