Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Community Resource Coordinator at Hurlburt Field, FL to coordinate and evaluate programs supporting service members and families. You will build peer support networks, recruit counselors, and ensure quality through data collection and reporting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or four years’ related experience, plus specialized training in peer support and suicide prevention. Collaboration with DoD resources and family readiness programs is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years’ experience in providing social service education or coordination services.
• Specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and referrals, and suicide prevention.
• Stay current on best practices and DoD/community resources for service members and families.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and report activity of peer counseling networks for service members and families.
• Report activity using the designated reporting tool and frequency.
• Coordinate Family Orientation, Outreach and Referrals; Deployment reintegration activities.
• Support deployment and transition programs for military members and spouses.
• Contribute to program implementation including suicide prevention and resiliency resources.
• Develop standard operating procedures for service provision.
• Serve as liaison for community and family support matters.
• Communicate with the Command via media/social channels.
• Maintain awareness of emergency response protocols.
