Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Performance Dietitian to advise and guide nutrition for SOF personnel at MacDill AFB, focusing on recovery, performance, and mission readiness. The role involves counseling individuals and groups, developing performance nutrition programs, and collaborating with the HP team in garrison, TDY, and deployed settings.

Candidates must hold an RD with CSSD certification, a Master’s in Nutrition, and be eligible for the required security clearance, with duties

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
• Master's degree in Nutrition Science or related field and RD certification.
• CSSD certification may be required within six months; maintains clinical practice privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition planning, counseling, and documentation guided by evidence-based literature.
• Advise the chain of command on nutrition and performance topics.
• Develop nutrition programs for SOF personnel in various deployment settings.
• Collaborate with HP program Manager for implementation of new protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure records in military EHRs and HP databases are updated.
