Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Certified Athletic Trainer (27 SOW/Cannon AFB, NM) to integrate physical, mental, and psychological wellness for SOF readiness. The role includes designing protective equipment, providing athletic training services, and advising on injury prevention within the POTFF program.

Candidates must be US citizens with NATABOC, CSCS within the first year, and an unrestricted license. Relocation and sign-on bonus up to $5K may be available.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.
• NATABOC certified.
• CSCS certification within first year of employment.
• Valid, unrestricted license from a US state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide HP services within the ATC scope of practice per NATA.
• Design and fabricate protective pads, equipment and braces to aid prevention and treatment of injuries.
• Provide instruction within the ATC scope of practice.
• Review care with the HP program manager and identify improvement opportunities.
• Advise HP program Manager/Coordinator on injury prevention, sports medicine and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate across HP program to enhance patient care quality.
