Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking a Special Operations Certified Athletic Trainer (27 SOW/Cannon AFB, NM). This role requires US citizenship, a Secret or Top Secret clearance, a Bachelor's in Athletic Training, NATABOC, and NSCA CSCS (or to obtain within a year).

The ATC will provide high-level sports medicine, injury prevention, and clinical care within a military context. This position offers relocation and a sign-on bonus of up to $5K for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Requires Secret or Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.
• NATABOC certification.
• NSCA CSCS certification or obtain within first year.
• Valid, unrestricted license from one US state.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an ATC with athletes at high levels.
• Physically capable of demanding SOF training.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic trainer services within NATA scope.
• Design and fabricate protective pads and braces.
• Guide and instruct within ATC scope.
• Review care with team; identify improvement opportunities.
• Attend meetings outside regular hours as needed.
• Advise HP program Manager/Coordinator on injury prevention and care.
• Collaborate to enhance patient care quality across HPTCs.
• Maintain clinical practice guidelines and training materials.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment used for patient care.
