Job summary

KBR is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to support Special Operations Forces under the POTFF contract, focusing on holistic wellness for service members and families. Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Secret or Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.
• NATABOC certified.
• NSCA CSCS certification (or obtain within first year).
• Unrestricted license from any US state or territory.
• Minimum 5 years’ ATC experience with athletes at high levels.
• Capable of meeting physical demands, including lifting up to 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Provide HP services within ATC scope of practice per NATA.
• Design and fabricate protective pads and braces to prevent injuries.
• Provide instruction and guidance within ATC scope.
• Review care, participate in improvement meetings, and handle after-hours disclosures.
• Advise HP program Manager/Coordinator on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate to enhance patient care across the HP program.
• Maintain equipment safety and conduct literature reviews to stay current.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training

NATABOC certified

CSCS certification by NSCA

US Citizenship

Liscense to practice (unrestricted) in US

5+ years ATC experience with athletes

Ability to meet physical demands (25 kg)
