The Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County ("BXDA") is charged with the twin goals of ensuring public safety and striving for equal justice for the over 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community. In furtherance of this mission, the BXDA seeks experienced and enthusiastic Special Officer / Peace Officer. Candidates should exhibit a strong interest in criminal law and public service. Under supervision, the Special Officer will provide physical security, safety, and maintenance of order in accordance with agency procedures. Uses computers and operates electronic security and safety monitoring systems and other equipment and devices.
