Job summary

Endeavor HCBS LLC in the Phoenix area is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist special needs families. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and accompany clients in the community, while receiving comprehensive training and ongoing development.

We offer flexible evening and weekend schedules, a part-time role with competitive compensation starting at $18.00 per hour, benefits including health and retirement plans, and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months working in caregiving, special needs, teaching, babysitting, nanny, nursing, or other care related occupations.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check before employment.
• Passion for working with individuals with special needs and a genuine desire to help.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and personalized support to individuals with special needs, assisting them in their daily activities and promoting their independence.

• Collaborate with families, care advocates, and healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with personal care, medication management, and other activities of daily living as required.

• Accompany individuals in their community, recreational activities, and appointments, ensuring their engagement and inclusion.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 months working in one of the following fields: caregiving, special needs, teaching, babysitting, nanny, nursing, or other care related occupations.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check before we can offer a position with Endeavor.
• Passion for working with individuals with special needs and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in their lives.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional relevant certifications or training are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to varying needs and situations.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required for some positions.
