Job summary

Aurora Behavioral Health System—East Campus in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Special Needs PHP program for children and adolescents with autism and neurodivergent needs. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
• Experience working with neurodivergent populations preferred.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Active Arizona licensure in good standing (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LMSW/LAC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapeutic groups within the Special Needs PHP program.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
• Provide individual and family therapy as clinically indicated.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and families to coordinate care.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to neurodivergent individuals.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and ethical practice guidelines.
