Job summary

Aurora Behavioral Health System - East Campus in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join the Special Needs PHP program. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy within a structured, neurodivergent-focused setting.

Engage with an interdisciplinary team to support emotional, behavioral, and social growth in children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and related needs; strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Active Arizona licensure in good standing as LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LMSW/LAC or equivalent.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with neurodivergent populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy within the Special Needs PHP program.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and coordinate with the team.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and families to coordinate care.
• Support discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
• Use evidence-based interventions tailored to neurodivergent needs.
