Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Job Coach to work with students with special needs at Phoenix Academy (High-Needs School). The role includes on-the-job training, feedback, and collaboration with community/job sites and employers. May involve lifting or restraints as needed.

The position involves implementing school policies, assisting teachers, and supporting student progress while ensuring safety and confidentiality across various school activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in school or classroom settings.
• Ability to implement behavioral goals and support individualized student plans.
• Understanding of child development and its impact on learning.
• Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing school policies and directives.
• Follow district policies to ensure student safety.
• Follow teacher directions with accuracy.
• Assist teachers with documentation of student progress.
• Encourage students to interact appropriately with peers.
• Assist students during recess, breaks, drills, assemblies, buses and field trips.
• Maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
