Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• 48 hours college credit evidenced by transcript or successful completion of Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment
• Experience working with children in organized setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups, reinforce instruction and track progress
• Prepare and organize lessons; administer tests per guidelines
• Monitor and report student progress and behavior; assist with labs and health/safety
• Perform routine clerical duties and maintain classroom records
• Provide support to teacher; set up work areas and distribute supplies
• Assist with transportation and personal care as needed
