Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in individual or small group instruction with handicapped pupils.
• Reinforce learning at school or on the bus; assist with basic tasks.
• Perform routine clerical duties and prepare instructional materials.
• Serve as a resource for the student’s evaluation team and progress reporting.
• Support professional growth through training and coursework as required.
• Uphold school rules and safety practices; protect students and property.
• Assist with student health services as directed by Supervisor.
• Demonstrate ability to lift and assist with physical care as needed.
