Job summary

Bridges Public Charter School is seeking a Dedicated Aide for Health Supports (DA) to assist students with special needs in a PK3–5 inclusive setting. The role emphasizes ADLS support, data collection, and collaboration with a BCBA-guided team in ABA/VB-informed classrooms.

Qualified candidates will hold a CNA credential and meet State early education expectations. The position is 10 months, with opportunities for professional growth and dedicated supervision by the school team.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant credential (CNA) required.
• ABA or VB training/experience desired but not mandatory; training provided.
• Experience in special education or with students with health care needs preferred.
• Commitment to inclusive education and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist with adaptive daily living skills (ADLS) and behavior support.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support high-need students.
• Collect progress data across program areas (curriculum, IEP, ABA/VB).
• Maintain safety and act as a positive role model in class.
• Support students in academic participation and inclusion activities.
