Job summary

New Albany-Plain Local Schools in New Albany, Ohio seeks an Educational Assistant to support a student with special needs full-time, seven hours per day, 186 days per year.

The role requires a valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit or ability to obtain one; experience with autism or behavioral challenges is preferred; you will work one-on-one and collaborate with teachers to support instruction and daily needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit or be able to obtain one.
• Experience working with students in small group, resource and/or inclusion settings preferred.
• Experience in working with students with Autism or behavioral disorders is preferred.
• Must be willing to work independently to support the daily instructional and medically related needs of a special needs student one-on-one, as required.
