Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with special needs students or students who are behaviorally challenged.
• Collaboration and communication skills; ability to work as part of a team.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed-care techniques.
• Training in Positive Behavior Supports and CPI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks and interactions with the assigned student or group as requested by the teacher.
• Assist the teacher in the classroom in various situations.
• Help address behavioral issues as directed by the Intervention Specialist or Director.
• Work as a team member and take direction from others.
