Job summary

Cleveland Hill UFSD is seeking a Teacher Aide to supervise students in the absence of the teacher and support instructional activities. Responsibilities include managing materials, assisting with testing, and maintaining important records while ensuring a safe learning environment.

The ideal candidate will work cooperatively with staff, communicate effectively with students and families, and demonstrate confidentiality in handling student information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience preferred in working with students with disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with instructional and behavioral tasks as assigned.
• Work with individuals, small groups, or large groups as directed.
• Escort students as assigned by teacher or administrator.
• Monitor students to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
• Report student concerns promptly to the teacher and assist with resolution.
• Assist with testing and exams by proctoring and providing accommodations.
• Maintain records and files.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Location and Assignment subject to administrative discretion.
