Community Horizons LLC seeks a kind, reliable after-school caregiver for a 9-year-old boy in Town of Wausau, WI. This part-time role covers school transport mornings and after-school supervision, Monday through Friday on alternating weeks.

Experience with autism or special needs is a plus, but training can be provided. A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required; you will help with activities, safety, and snacks.

Before and after school care for 9-year-old boy needed.

Morning transportation to school and transportation from school to provider's home (after school) for care and supervision (Monday-Friday, every other week)

This is a part-time role with an opportunity to make a REAL impact on the life of an amazing child.

Previous childcare with special needs preferred but open and willing to train the RIGHT person!

HOURS

7:30am-8:30am Transport to school Monday-Friday (Every other week)

3:30pm-6:30pm Monday-Friday (Every other week)

JOB TASKS

• Provide dependable transportation from school to home
• Engage member in activities of choice and opportunities to learn
• Provide safety and supervision
• Provide redirection as behavioral challenges arise
• Prepare after school snacks

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience working with children with autism and or special needs is a huge plus
• A compassionate, patient and understanding attitude
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• Must have a current driver's license and dependable transportation
• Must be reliable, mature and responsible

Wage

$17.00 per hour

A background check is required for this role prior to employment starting
