Phoenix Home Care & Hospice in Columbia, MO is seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a pediatric client. The role focuses on daily routines, safety, and family support in a caring home environment.

Responsibilities include after-school and evening supervision, personal care, meals, light chores, and companionship, with a schedule that includes Monday–Friday 6 PM–8 PM and every other weekend 8 AM–1 PM. Prior autism experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and individuals on the autism spectrum is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; current auto insurance.

Phoenix Home Care is looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver with experience working with children and individuals on the autism spectrum to provide one-on-one support for a pediatric client in Columbia.

This role is about more than caregiving. It’s about helping a child navigate daily routines, providing consistent support, and giving the family an extra set of helping hands. The right person will bring patience, understanding, and experience to help create a safe, supportive environment where the child can feel comfortable and supported.

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-on-one care and supervision
• Assist with personal care and daily routines
• Support after-school and evening activities
• Help with meals and other daily needs
• Complete light household chores related to the child
• Provide companionship and a safe, supportive environment
• Offer dependable support to help the family manage daily routines

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 6 PM–8 PM
• Every other weekend: 8 AM–1 PM

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Requirements
