Our client, a specialized childcare facility in Randburg, Gauteng , is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Childcare Assistant. This role involves providing direct support and care to children with diverse special needs, assisting them with daily activities, learning, and social interaction. You will work under the guidance of experienced therapists and educators to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for every child. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

A relevant qualification in childcare, special needs education, or a related field (e.g., Level 3 Childcare Certificate). Previous experience working with children with special needs is essential. Understanding of various developmental disabilities and learning challenges. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Physical ability to assist children as needed. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Reliable and punctual.
