About the Role

Our client seeks a highly organized and experienced Daycare Supervisor for their facility in Welkom . This role is central to the daily operations and effective management of the daycare center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare services. The supervisor will oversee staff, manage daily schedules, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and maintain excellent relationships with parents and guardians. This is a leadership position within the Free State province, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support daycare staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Oversee the daily operations of the daycare center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Develop and implement daily program activities that align with early childhood development principles. Ensure the center adheres to all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations. Manage parent communication, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development, and any incidents. Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a childcare setting. Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development, Education, or Business Management. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage staff effectively and foster a positive team environment. Solid understanding of health, safety, and licensing regulations for childcare facilities.
