BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care in community settings on the Big Island, including Hilo and nearby areas.

We offer flexible, part-time schedules with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and pay rate of $20/hour. Our caregivers promote independence and quality of life through person-centered care and clinical support as needed.

Qualifications

• One year experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Must be able to transport clients to community activities.
• Must be at least 18 years old and read/write in English.

We are Seeking Compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Caregivers, Personal Care Aides, Nurse’s Aides, and individuals with caregiving experience— including those who have cared for a family member— to support individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized, one‑on‑one support in community settings. Our caregivers play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through compassionate, person‑centered care.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
• Participate in community integration, leisure activities, errands, and having fun.
• Patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow.
• Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our clinical managers.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.
