BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in Houtzdale, PA and surrounding areas. DSPs provide one-on-one support in home and community settings for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential.

Roles include personal care, companionship, errands, and participation in community activities. Competitive pay starts at $17+ per hour and benefits include PTO and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities/special needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene).
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in and around Houtzdale, PA. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.

Position Highlights:

• Part-time roles with the possibility of additional hours and full-time availability
• Flexible openings across day, evening, and weekend shifts
• Competitive pay starting at $17+/hour, depending on experience

How You’ll Make an Impact as a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP):
