Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Support Personnel (DSP) to join the team in and around Union County PA. DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings as companions and mentors for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential.

You will provide personal care, accompany clients on errands, assist with daily tasks, and engage in hobbies and community activities.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene).
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Personnel / DSP to join the team in and around Union County PA. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.

How You’ll Make an Impact as a Direct Support Personnel / DSP:

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

Details:

• Locations We’re Hiring: Lewisburg, Mifflinburg, Selinsgrove, Sunbury, and more!
• Position Type: Start part-time and grow with us. Full-time opportunities may become available, and we’re currently hiring for all shifts.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay: $17/hr. + based on experience
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities near your home)
