BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Special Needs Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in and around Lewistown, PA. DSPs provide one-on-one support in home and community settings, serving as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential.

Role offers part-time opportunities with potential for more hours; pay starts at $17+/hour and varies by experience.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with individuals with IDD or special needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Special Needs Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in and around Lewistown, PA. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.

• Part-time roles with the possibility of additional hours and full-time availability
• Flexible openings across day shifts - part time!
• Competitive pay starting at $17+/hour, depending on experience

Qualifications for Our Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSP)
