Job summary

Ivy Health’s pediatric team seeks an Early Intervention Special Instructor to work with children birth to age three and their families in the family’s natural setting, such as home, daycare, or community sites. This per-visit role offers 5–19 hours weekly with potential to grow to part-time or full-time as needs arise.

You will empower parents with coaching techniques, support families, and collaborate with therapists to help children meet development goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Family Studies, or Early Childhood Development.
  • Pediatric CPR and FA certification (infant/child) required.
  • Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide early intervention services in the child’s natural setting (home, daycare, community).
  • Coach and empower parents to support the child’s goals.
  • Collaborate with the pediatric therapy team to ensure continuity of care.

Special Instructor of Early Intervention

As an Early Intervention Special Instructor you can make a positive impact on children and families! Teammates work directly with children from birth through age three and their families, using a coaching model to empower the parents to be the ones who provide the support needed and techniques to help their child succeed and achieve their goals.Services are provided in the child's natural setting, such as their home, daycare, or community setting. This is a per visit position (5-19 hours per week) with the opportunity to build to part time or potentially full time depending on need, flexibility, etc.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Obtained Bachelor's Degree in one of the following majors:Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Family Studies, Early Childhood Development
  • All positions: Must have pediatric CPR and FA certification (includes infant/child CPR and in person skills testing)
