Candidates should have a Master’s degree in special education or early childhood education and NYS EI

Formación

• Master's degree in special education or early childhood education.
• Must meet NYS Early Intervention Program qualification and approval for Special Instruction (Birth-Grade 2 certification).
• Experience working with children ages 0-3 with developmental delays or disabilities preferred.

Responsabilidades

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and qualified Special Instructors (SI) - Early Intervention to join our growing team! As a Special Instructor, you will provide individualized Special Instruction services in accordance with each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). You will implement developmentally appropriate, play-based interventions to support children's developmental goals and provide services in children's natural environments, including homes, daycare centers, and community settings, or through telehealth when authorized.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in special education or early childhood education
• Must meet applicable NYS Early Intervention Program qualification and approval requirements for Special Instruction (Birth-Grade 2 certification)
• Experience working with children ages 0-3 with developmental delays or disabilities preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with families and other professionals
