Job summary

Heart To Heart Children's Services in New York City is seeking Special Education Teachers to provide Early Intervention services in all five boroughs. You will support birth to three children and partner with families to promote developmental milestones.

Responsibilities include one-on-one work with infants/toddlers, implementing individualized education plans, and guiding caregivers between sessions. We offer flexible scheduling, quick onboarding, and BCBA supervision when needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited university.
• Valid Birth-Grade 2 Students with Disabilities teaching certificate.

Responsibilities

• The Special Instructor/Educator will work one-on-one with developmentally delayed babies and toddlers eligible for Early Intervention.
• Educate and guide parents/caregivers to support home and session goals.
• Support families across NYC to promote child milestones.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Special Instructor/Educator will be working one on one with developmentally delayed babies and toddlers who qualify for Early Intervention services within New York City.

Providers are expected to utilize their clinical knowledge and skills to help the child reach their milestones, as well as, to educate and guide parents/caregivers to ensure successful implementation between sessions.

Skills and Qualifications

• A masters degree in Special Education from an accredited university.
• Valid teaching certification: Birth-Grade 2 Students with Disabilities certificate
