Consolidated Engineering Laboratories in San Ramon, CA seeks a Group 2 Special Inspector to join our team. Responsibilities include verifying work per contract, conforming procedures to codes, examining completed work, and preparing materials for testing.

Candidates should hold CWI (AWS) and/or NDE certifications, with construction experience, knowledge of building codes, and the ability to read construction plans and write daily reports. A valid driver’s license and OSHA 10 are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum CWI (AWS) and/or NDE certifications required.
• Construction industry experience and knowledge of codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and test reports.
• OSHA 10 Hour certification and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Ensure services are performed per project requirements and contract.
• Ensure procedures and materials conform to contract documents and codes.
• Examine finished work for compliance with regulations.
• Prepare samples for testing and perform related calculations.
• Write daily field reports.
