Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Duluth, GA is seeking a skilled technician to perform inspections, service, repairs and upgrades of clean agent fire suppression and other engineered systems. You will handle initial acceptance testing, programming and testing of newly installed systems.

Responsibilities include programming, start-up, inspection and testing of Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Systems; troubleshooting and repair; reading design documents; coordinating with electricians and project managers;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and two years experience in fire protection or related field.
• NICET certification and valid driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Program, start-up and commissioning of Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Systems.
• Inspect and test Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Systems.
• Prepare inspection reports and service work orders.
• Read and interpret NFPA codes, building codes and contract documents.
• Coordinate installation with electricians and project manager.
