Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Special Hazards Designer to design and document fire protection systems, prepare submittals for approvals, and guide installation teams. They will liaise with sales, project management, and installation departments to ensure accurate, on-time deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Must pass drug screen and background/reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Produce design drawings for all engineered fire systems.
• Provide input for estimates of both design/build and pre-engineered fire systems.
• Produce shop drawings and closing documents for approval and delivery to customers.
• Coordinate communication between sales, project management, design and installation departments.
• Supervise project database to reduce redundant files and save administrative time.
• Provide guidance to installation personnel to ensure high-quality work on time and within budget.
