Job description

Role Summary

The Special Events Specialist supports the City of Pharr's event operations by keeping schedules, documentation, and communications accurate and on time. This role helps ensure event requests move smoothly from inquiry through closeout.

Key responsibilities include coordinating event inquiries and scheduling; preparing and tracking contracts, invoices, and related records; supporting event planning and on-site execution as assigned; assisting with promotional materials and updates; and completing administrative purchasing steps such as check requests, requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor setup.
