Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is seeking a security professional to safeguard guests and assets while promoting a friendly, guest‑oriented demeanor at all times. Under the direction of Security Supervisors and Managers, you will provide basic security coverage to ensure safety for patrons and team members.

Key duties include enforcing Gaming Commission regulations, safeguarding monetary transfers, assisting patrons, and preparing clear incident reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of guest service experience.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct according to Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida policies.
• Ensure security for transfers of monies within casino and hotel areas.
• Assist patrons with inquiries and provide directions; escort if needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports clearly and promptly.
• Patrol hotel and casino areas; report unusual situations and persons.
• Assist in emergencies and maintain proper key control.
• Support responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service and notify managers.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of Security Supervisors and Managers, incumbent provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety of patrons and team members. Safeguards the assets of the organization as well as those of its guests and team members. Promotes an outgoing, friendly guest oriented demeanor at all times.

Essential Job Functions:

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complex.
• Assist patrons with a wide variety of inquiries and situations including providing information about the property and events, giving directions and possibly escorting them if necessary.
• Prepare detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner.
• Patrol the hotel and casino areas to establish a security presence and report all unusual situations and/or suspicious persons.
• Assist in the coordination and resolution of emergency situations.
• Assist in maintaining proper key control.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
• Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company's Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
• Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of one (1) year of guest service experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
