Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time EMT-Defibrillation level clinician to provide direct patient care at events in Concord, NC. You will assist paramedics and nurses during transport, drive ambulances, and maintain safety and CPR/ALS readiness.

The role requires state EMT certification, BCLS, and a valid driver's license; 1–2 years of 911 EMT experience is preferred. Mostly night and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-D certification required.
• Must have BCLS and a valid driver’s license.
• National EMT registry preferred; 1–2 years 911 EMT experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care at EMT-D level per events protocols.
• Support paramedics/nurses during transport from venues.
• Drive vehicles per policy and local laws; ensure passenger safety.
• Clean and restock vehicle after each event/transport.
• Document patient condition and care while protecting confidentiality.
• Maintain certifications, ongoing education, and required trainings.
• Report safety hazards to lead paramedic or director.
