About the Role

As a Special Events Bartender at Belmont Park, you'll bring the fun to every pour-serving up expertly crafted drinks, quick service, and great vibes during some of our most exciting private and public events. From intimate receptions to large-scale festivals, you'll help create experiences guests will never forget.

What You'll Do

• Shake & Pour with Precision : Craft cocktails, beer, and wine quickly, consistently, and according to event standards.
• Deliver Exceptional Service : Engage guests with personality, professionalism, and knowledge of the menu.
• Stay Event-Ready : Set up and break down event bars, keeping everything clean, stocked, and organized.
• Move Fast, Stay Focused : Handle high-volume service with speed and accuracy in dynamic environments.
• Be a Team Player : Collaborate with event staff, servers, and leads to keep operations smooth and guests happy.

Requirements

Physical Requirements :

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements. This includes purchasing and wearing slip resistant safety shoes when performing all job duties.
• Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat frequently to receive and store stock, supplies and equipment and to work the line during service periods.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, vendors, and guests.

Skills / Qualifications :

• Previous experience as Server or Server Assistant in full-service restaurants.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by State and City.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Maintains composure under periods of high stress and high volume.

Expected Hours of Work :

Flexible work hours, including but not exclusive to busiest times, weekends, holidays, and nights. Your schedule may vary depending on when Events are booked. There may be weeks that you are not scheduled. Your supervisor will advise you of your schedule-the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support our amusement park and hospitality business objectives.
