Job summary

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel is seeking a versatile Events Support role to prepare the venue for national entertainment, trade shows, and promotional events. You will set up and take down chairs, tables, staging, and pipe-and-drape, and assist during events with ushering and ticketing.

You may operate equipment such as forklifts or scissor lifts and respond to radio requests for setup, removal, or repairs. A Minnesota driver’s license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Special Events preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and breakdown of chairs, tables, staging, and drape as required.
• Support during events with ticket taking and ushering as needed.
• Respond to radio requests for setup, removal or repairs in a timely manner.
• Operate equipment such as forklift or scissor lift when necessary.
• Clean and maintain event spaces, equipment and machinery.
• Communicate concerns to Sales & Catering Manager promptly.

Job description
