Job summary

Grand Casino Hinckley is seeking a dependable Banquet Utility to set up and tear down event spaces, ensuring rooms align with diagrams and BEOs. This full-time role involves physical work, helping with banquets, and maintaining clean, organized spaces on schedule.

You'll read diagrams, follow setup instructions, and collaborate with Banquet, Culinary, and Event teams. A license from GRA is required, and prior hospitality or event support is preferred. Training provided.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in hospitality, event setup, or utility support preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams and follow setup instructions accurately.
• Must be able to secure a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, staging, podiums, and other equipment for meetings and events
• Tear down event setups and restore rooms to standard layouts
• Maintain storage rooms, event equipment, and work areas in clean, organized condition
• Assist with bussing, dishwashing, and event cleanup as needed
• Follow room diagrams and BEOs to ensure accurate setup
• Report maintenance issues or equipment concerns to leadership promptly
• Support team members and Servers to ensure efficient event flow
• Complete assigned side work and cleaning tasks on time
