Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a Special Educator to provide individualized lessons in home and community settings, targeting IEP goals for students with special needs in Nassau County, NY. The role follows the school calendar with afternoon/evening hours and may be part-time, fee-for-service, or full-time depending on caseload.

Responsibilities include developing engaging, multi-sensory lessons, collecting progress data, and coordinating with supervisors and school teams.

• Collect data and report quarterly on progress toward IEP goals.
• Maintain communication with lead supervisors and school teams.
• Submit accurate attendance and daily electronic billing.
• Attend CSE meetings and maintain professionalism with families and professionals.
