Job summary
Family of Kidz is seeking a Special Educator EI/SEIS Evaluator for part-time or full-time opportunities in Town of Riverhead, NY. The role involves providing individualized education for children in Early Intervention and Preschool programs. Responsibilities include developing lessons, reporting progress, and attending IEP meetings. Candidates should have a NYS Students with Disabilities certification and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. Compensation ranges from $64 to $75 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
Passionate about working with children and their families.
Minimum of (1) year experience working in a related setting preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized lessons targeting goals from IFSP/IEP.
Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons based on IFSP/IEP goals.
Collect and report meaningful information on IEP/IFSP goals.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
