Job summary

A children's support organization in New York is seeking a passionate individual for a part-time position working with children in Early Intervention. Responsibilities include providing individualized lessons based on the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals, maintaining accurate documentation, and engaging with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have a NYS Students with Disabilities B-Grade 2 Certification and experience in a related setting is preferred. Flexible schedules are available. Full-time opportunities may follow.

• EI Compensation: $50-$80/hour

Responsibilities

• Work with students who are in Early Intervention providing individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
• Develop creative and multi‑sensory lessons based on the IFSP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IFSP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IFSP meetings.
