Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• ParaPro certification preferred.
• Prior experience with adolescents or individuals with disabilities is valued.
• Ability to connect and collaborate effectively with students, educators, and support staff.

Responsabilités

• Deliver targeted one-on-one and small-group instructional reinforcement.
• Assist students with reading, interpreting blueprints, and navigating technical manuals.
• Provide accommodations such as breaking down multi-step instructions and scribing.
• Guide students in safe operation of trade tools and equipment under supervision.
• Enforce shop safety procedures and PPE compliance.
• Implement academic and vocational modifications per IEPs.
• Support Behavior Intervention Plans by teaching self-regulation and social-emotional skills.
• Maintain records and progress toward student goals.
• Collaborate with SPED teachers, CTE instructors, and related services.
