Job summary

Central Berkshire Regional School District in Dalton, MA is seeking multiple Special Education Van Drivers to transport students safely and efficiently. The role requires pre-trip safety inspections and strict adherence to routes and schedules. Part-time position starting immediately, with up to 5 hours of driving per day.

A high school diploma or GED is required, and a valid 7D license is needed. CPR/First Aid is preferred, and experience with special needs students is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transporting authorized pupils in a safe and efficient manner.

• Conduct safety inspection of the bus prior to each trip and complete School Bus Condition Report.
• Notify supervisor of mechanical malfunctions and/or safety hazards.
• Adhere to assigned routes, designated bus stops and assigned time schedules.
• Obey all traffic laws and observe mandatory bus safety regulations.
