Point Quest, Inc. seeks a Special Education Transportation Aide to support riders on the Stockton to El Dorado Hills route. The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, with benefits and a pay range of $18.50-$22.50 per hour.

You’ll work with students, driver, and school staff to ensure safe, calm, and positive rides. Responsibilities include supervision, safe loading/unloading, behavior support as needed, and documentation of attendance.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background clearance (DOJ/FBI Live Scan) and TB clearance required.
• Ability to supervise and transport students safely.
• Physically able to support student needs as required.

Special Education Transportation Aide / Rider - Stockton to El Dorado Hills Route | $18.50-$22.50/hr + Benefits | Elk Grove & Copperopolis Area Candidates Welcome | Monday-Friday

About the Role

Help students with special needs start and end their school day safely. As a Rider on our Stockton to El Dorado Hills route, you'll be picked up along the way, so if you live in Elk Grove, Copperopolis, or the Stockton area, there's no commute. You'll work alongside the driver and school staff to keep every ride safe, calm, and supportive, and may also provide Behavioral Aide support during school hours as needed.

Schedule

• Morning: 4:30/5:30 AM - 8:30 AM
• Afternoon: 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

As a Rider

• Supervise and support students during transportation to and from school
• Assist with safe loading and unloading
• Provide encouragement and behavioral redirection to keep rides calm and positive
• Track attendance and complete required documentation
• Follow transportation safety procedures and emergency protocols
• Communicate concerns or incidents to supervisors and school staff

As a Behavioral Aide (as needed)

• Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide one-on-one instructional and behavioral support
• Help students participate in class and daily routines
• Collect and document student progress data
• Collaborate with teachers and clinical staff

Must Have

• High school diploma or equivalent
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background clearance and TB clearance
• Ability to safely assist and supervise students during transportation
• Physically able to support student needs as required

Preferred

• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs
• Experience in school transportation or student support services
• Experience supporting students with behavioral, social, or emotional needs
• Pro-ACT, CPI, CPR, or First Aid certification
