Job summary

Point Quest is seeking a Van Rider for El Dorado Hills, CA to support students with special needs during daily transportation. You will accompany students on routes, help maintain a safe, structured environment, and collaborate with drivers and school staff.

This full-time role offers split shifts, Monday-Friday, with benefits. You will perform loading/unloading assistance, behavioral redirection, and data documentation, while prioritizing student safety and well-being during transit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance.
• Ability to safely assist and supervise students during transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students during transportation to and from school.
• Assist with safe loading and unloading procedures.
• Provide behavioral redirection and support.
• Maintain a safe, structured transportation environment.
• Complete required documentation and monitor attendance.
• Implement IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans as needed.
