Job summary

Precision HR Solutions, Inc. seeks a licensed Special Education Teacher for a temporary assignment in Providence, RI. You will provide individualized instruction to students aged 13-19 in a RIDE-approved classroom, with a class of 9 and a BCBA/OT/SLP onsite.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, with extended hours on Tuesdays. You will implement IEPs, collaborate with six behavior specialists, and support students’ academic, social-emotional, and life skills

Qualifications

• Appropriate Special Education teaching certification or eligibility to teach in Rhode Island.
• Experience with adolescents with disabilities in a special education setting preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Experience with individualized instruction, behavior management, and positive behavior support.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work effectively with behavior specialists and related service providers.
• Commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and highly individualized learning environment.
• Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM-3:30 PM, with extended hours on Tuesdays until 4:15 PM.

YOUR IMPACT
