Precision Human Resource Solutions, Inc. seeks a licensed Special Education Teacher for a Moderate Disabilities program in a Richmond, MA school.

You will provide individualized instruction for students ages 5-22 within a small classroom (3:1) focused on academic growth and social-emotional development. Responsibilities include adapting instruction, implementing behavior supports, and collaborating with staff to implement IEPs.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide individualized instruction and specialized support to students ages 5-22 in a Moderate Disabilities program serving grades K-12. Students may have social-emotional or behavioral challenges, learning disabilities, or a diagnosis of high-functioning Autism.

Working in a small classroom with a 3:1 student-to-staff ratio, you will help create a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes academic growth, positive behavior, social-emotional development, and independence.

Essential responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction based on each student's academic, developmental, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to support diverse learning abilities.
• Implement effective classroom management and positive behavior support strategies.
• Promote social skills, emotional regulation, and student independence.
• Collaborate with school staff and support personnel to implement individualized educational and behavioral plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet learning goals.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Valid Massachusetts teaching license with Special Education certification in Moderate Disabilities; Severe Disabilities certification preferred.
• Eligibility to teach in Massachusetts through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
• Master's degree and SEI endorsement.
• Experience working in special education, inclusion, or substantially separate classroom settings.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts special education regulations and IEP development.
• Experience designing and delivering individualized instruction for students with disabilities.
• Ability to work a structured, full-time, Monday-Friday schedule.
