ACCEPT Education Collaborative is seeking dynamic teaching assistants for Middle and High School programs in Natick, MA. Starting immediately, you will support students with special needs alongside our Special Education team in a collaborative, kid-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience working with children and/or young adults.
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• Safety Care certified or willing to get certified.
• Team player and dependable.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to multitask.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with students with special needs.
• Compassion and patience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom instruction and provide support to students.
• Assist with job coaching and community-based instruction.
• Maintain a safe, clean and supportive classroom environment.
• Work with lead teacher to track student progress and ensure academic progress.
• Provide assistance to students during non-classroom time and arrange recreational activities.
• Attend required meetings and training sessions.
